Welcome to Purrr Cafe, the charming cat café nestled in the heart of King's Lynn, just a stone's throw away from the historic marketplace at 17 Purfleet St, King's Lynn PE30 1ER. Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in a delightful sanctuary filled with friendly felines, delicious food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

What sets Purrr Cafe apart from other cafés is, of course, the star attractions: the cats! Each kitty boasts its own unique personality, ensuring that your experience is anything but ordinary. Whether you’re greeted by the playful antics of Monty, the charming Maine Coon, or the shy but affectionate nappers, these furry friends will undoubtedly steal your heart. As one customer, Louise Keens, put it, the cats are “super cute” and offer a chance to unwind in their company—what could be better than sipping on a hot chocolate while cuddling with a feline friend?

The café is designed to be a cozy retreat, perfect for spending quality time with loved ones. Customers rave about the friendly staff who are always ready to share their knowledge about each cat. Jessica Taylor shared how her visit with her little girl was made even more special by the attentive staff who indulged her daughter's curiosity about the kitties. It’s this personal touch that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every visit feels special.

While there, you can delight in a menu that features a variety of tantalizing options. Take a cue from Carol Miles, who recommended trying their street food, noting how beautifully presented and incredibly tasty it was. The portion sizes are generous—perfect for sharing with the cats who might want a nibble! Additionally, the prices are very reasonable, making this gem accessible for everyone, whether you’re treating yourself or bringing the whole family along for an outing.

Purrr Cafe isn’t just a place to enjoy a meal; it’s an experience that blends culinary delights with the joy of interacting with lovely cats. Isabelle Hodds praised it as “the best cat cafe in East Anglia,” and it’s easy to see why. The café offers a sanctuary where each cat has countless cozy spots to retreat to when they need a break, and the attention they receive from both the staff and customers showcases their well-being.

If you're looking for a unique outing whether for a casual afternoon or a small celebration, Purrr Cafe promises to make lasting memories. Visited last week and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Didn't get to meet all the cats as they were napping but the ones that did come out to play were super cute. Had the nachos while I was there too and they were amazing and a lot bigger than I expected. Would definitely go again!

Me and my little girl went to visit here today and we had such a lovely time not only was the staff and the owner amazing and kind they had all the time in the world to answer and speak to my little one about each cat (It was very quite and not busy when we went so may not be like this everytime) The cats are so loving and each one have their one amazing personalities. Monty was a very cheeky loving boy my personal favourite! My little one who loves cats was very happy and listened to the rules and it helped her a lot today to be around the sweet cats and so thankful to be able to visit such a beautiful cat cafe. Anyone wishing to visit please be mindful that the cats are the owners personal pets and need space and boundaries like everyone so please don't be rude and ignore the rules and try to lift the cats or hold them in your arms when they don't want to me held as we saw a few people do that today and it wasn't a okay thing to do. We will 1000% be back and thank you to the wonderful staff and owner.

The Best cat cafe in East Anglia! We came on a Saturday afternoon and the cats were so interactive This cat cafe is definitely smaller than the one in Norwich but Is in every way better The cats are obviously super happy and there are lots of places they can get away from the action if they needed The amount of Maine coon cats amazed me and Monty was absolutely huge They are all so playful and it's clear that the owner has a deep passion for looking after her pets. Also the decor is super cute! All the food options are great and there is enough for vegetarians too! I left feeling super pleased with my visit and the Fee of £10 per person is reasonable as the money goes towards looking after the beauty kitties I would absolutely return and I would recommend this cat cafe over the one in Norwich!!!!

I brought my husband here as a surprise for our Anniversary and to cheer him up on Monday 11th Nov '24. We parked at the Tuesday market car park which is a pay & display, make sure you have plenty of coins, just under £4 for 2hrs, i meant to put £5 in but miss read the sign, so got 2hrs parking ! The cafe was a 5 min walk for me, but took longer for my husband as hes unwell, found out later there is a car park in the rd behind the cafe x The staff are very friendly and helpful, the cats are beautiful and well looked after plus comfortable with the public, they are owned by the cafe owners too. My favourite is Monty, then Benny, both Maine Coone's, Monty is a huge ginger Maine coone and Benny has more of a tabby colouring (see pics), theres Taylor Swift, a Devon Rex, Boots a majestic Maine Coone (dark face), Rinaldo a cute ragdoll, a british short hair who stayed asleep most of the day, i think there was approximately 9 kittens of all sizes. They have a menu for snacks, drinks & alcohol and on a Monday the time slot is 90 mins. We really enjoyed it & will return when my husband is feeling better. I walked back to the car park just before the 2hrs were up & the traffic wardens were around, so dont go over your time. Would highly recommend this cat cafè x
